Production Specialist
Toyo Tire Corporation was founded in Japan in 1945 and is a producer of tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, trucks & buses, as well as automobile components. It operates worldwide, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Italy, Russia, China, Thailand, and Malaysia. It has more than 13,000 employees worldwide and represents the 11th largest tire manufacturer in the world. The company Toyo Tire Serbia was established in 2019, and construction of a plant started in 2020, with production kicked off in 2022. The plant encompasses Tire Test track and the first bifacial and currently the largest Solar Power plant in Serbia which is under construction.
Job Description
- Actively participate in achieving safety,environment objectives and related to the areas of responsibility by leading and ensuring the compliances with laws,regulations, policies and standards, plant system and procedures
- Plan, develop and coordinate Production Unit team efforts to achieve team objectives
- Assume the responsibilities of Unit Mnager in case of his/her absence
- Identify and provide solutions to issues/opportunities for improvement,foster team involvement,involvement of
other functions and/or outside resources - Specialist is a process expert, designs and fix systems, who improve the Production Unit performance indicators
- Obey and execute all the safety rules and policy, Responsible for the responsibility area safety issue, Passion to attend all company safety activities
- Support the Production Unit Manager by being the “Fixer” in working towards improving productivity, reducing waste and maintaining top quality product to the customer
- Participate Production Unit team goal setting process
- Develop new systems for process and product improvement
- Actively encourage a safe,clean,well organized work environment
- Support maintenance teams in establishing PM and TPM activities
- Eliminate safety hazards of any kind by ensuring that all equipments are in safe working condition and reacting immediately to all safety related items
Profile:
- University Degree of Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical and Industrial engineering)
- Experience of process knowledge and maintenance activities
- Well understanding of human realtions and team concept and team work
- Process knowledge
- Plant indicators
- Quality system knowledge
- Mainteanace systems knowledge,PM/TPM
- Communication skills and team concept
- Strong organizational and interpersonel skills and well organized
- Work well under pressure,reliable and flexible
- Proactive approach
- Innovative approach
