Toyo Tire Corporation was founded in Japan in 1945 and is a producer of tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, trucks & buses, as well as automobile components. It operates worldwide, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Italy, Russia, China, Thailand and Malaysia. It has more than 13,000 employees worldwide and represents 11th largest tire manufacturer in the world. The company Toyo Tire Serbia was established in 2019, construction of a plant started in 2020, with production kicked off in 2022. The company plans to invest 390 million Euros and employ more than 500 employees in Inđija plant. The plant encompasses Tire Test track and the first bifacial and currently the largest Solar Power plant in Serbia which is under construction.

Job Description 

Technology Engineer runs activities for new tire industrialization and provides regular production support to meet daily ticket and quality objectives. In this role, you would:

▪ Define process technology and maintain working instructions
▪ Create FMEA and CP controls for the respective area
▪ Define the most efficient process parameters within requirement standards
▪ Cooperate with cross-functional teams to address daily production issues in all business areas
▪ Cooperate with plant PE, CIS

Position requirements

To be successful in this role, you would have:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical, Rubber or related field
▪ Understanding and use of IATF, APQP/PPAP, FMEA’s, 5WHY, DMAIC
▪ Good verbal and written English communication skills
▪ Computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Windows, Office, SAP applications
▪ Ability to effectively plan activities
